NOTICE OF BRIDGE CLOSURE

Please be advised that Springfield Ave between Holly St. and Orange Ave. in Cranford will be closed on or about the date referenced above.

The work being performed will consist of replacing the bridge that spans the Rahway River. The bridge will be closed to all vehicles and pedestrians for the duration of the project.

A clearly marked detour route will be established and maintained by the Contractor. Emergency vehicles will not be allowed through the work zone. Access to only residences and businesses, including deliveries and other services, within the road closure will be allowed but not to thru traffic. Please note: TRUCKS are NOT permitted on Orange Ave.

The County recognizes the inconvenience that any road construction may cause and apologizes for any difficulties encountered. The County shall make every effort to have the work completed as soon as possible.
