Otis Blunt and Jose Espinosa, the men who escaped from the Union County Jail in December 2007 will be sentenced on Friday morning.
In May, on the day their trial was to begin both men pled guilty to 3rd degree escape.
Sentencing for both men is scheduled for Friday morning before Union County Superior Court Judge Joseph P. Donohue. Both men will be transported to Union County from Trenton so an exact time for sentencing has not been set. Members of the media wishing to bring cameras into the court room must call (908) 659-4810.
Prosecutors will be in court and will be available for interviews following sentencing. There are no plans for a formal press conference. |
