On April 18, 2002 the victim received a telephone call from a man who sounded like her grandson. The victim supplied her grandson’s name to question if the caller was him, and the caller responded in a muffled voice that it was, and that he had a very bad cold. The called then advised the elderly victim that he needed cash to cover a bad check. When the victim asked the caller how she should get the cash to him, the caller stated that he would send a friend to pick it up. An hour later, the above subject, who identified himself as "Adam Miller," arrived at the house and received $5,000 in cash from the victim.

He proceeded to threaten the use of a gun, which was not displayed, and carjacked the vehicle which he drove into Piscataway where he ordered one of the women to exit the car. He then sexually assaulted the other woman.

On Friday, March 1, 2002 at approximately 10:00 p.m. in the north parking lot of the Wyndham Hotel on Route 1 south in Elizabeth, the above individual approached a man and shot him in the head and took his black leather wallet and gold money clip. The perpetrator possibly drove an older model 4 door vehicle and was wearing a good quality tan puffy style coat which had 2" square patterns inside of which were small letters (possible a logo). The individual also wore a matching tan knit skull cap and had a scruffy beard. He was armed with a small caliber handgun.

On February 13, 2002 at 1857 hours, two suspects entered the Leather Factory Outlet, 1945 Rt. 22 West, and ordered two employees into the stock room where they were told to lay face down and their hands were then bound with rope. The victim’s heads were covered with coats from the store. One suspect was armed with a handgun. The above subject secured the male employee, while the armed suspect secured the female. The male employee’s vehicle was then carjacked. Cash and leather goods were taken from the store. The vehicle was recovered in Bayonne later that night.

Suspect fled the store and entered a green Honda, NJ Reg. LAZ 50U, a stolen MV from Jersey City, now entered felony. Suspect then fled towards the Garden State Parkway in the vehicle.

On October 10, 2001 above subject attempted to photograph a 5 year old child in the loop area of the Watchung Reservation in Mountainside. When the suspect was questioned by the child's mother, he identified himself as a parks employee and then left the area. He departed in a late model GMC SUV, possible a Jimmy, black in color bearing unknown New Jersey gold and black license plates. He was last seen wearing a white long sleeved button down shirt with blue jeans and was also wearing a gold wedding band.

On Thursday, October 11, 2001, at approximately 5:14 p.m. in the Kenilworth A&P parking lot, four Hispanic males (possibly Colombian) surrounded a parked car. The actors drove an Alamo rental car which they used to block the victim's car and they punched the driver, front passenger and rear passenger windows out. The driver (victim) was held at gunpoint with his head forced into the steering wheel. A black flight luggage Pullman containing $350,000 in jewelry was stolen from the rear seat on the passenger side of the vehicle. The victim was then pistol whipped and the actors fled.

On September 26, 2001 at 2330 hours, 4-5 actors, including above subject, entered the Kenilworth Inn bordering the Garden State Parkway. Above actor had been the hotel about one hour earlier requesting change from the desk clerk. At above time, 3 actors entered the lobby, jumped over the counter and assaulted the desk clerk by striking him in the head numerous times with a black revolver. Actors then forced the desk clerk to remove the cash till containing $604.98 whereupon they fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

Suspect's vehicle is described as a white pickup truck with wood gates attached to the back bed.

He placed an orange drink and a dollar bill on the counter. When the cashier opened the register, he struck her in the face with a closed fist. He then emptied the register and fled on foot.

On Sunday night, April 22, 2001, the above subject, wearing a denim jacket, entered the main lobby of a hotel near the Kenilworth exit of the Garden State Parkway and showed a large silver revolver to two workers for the purpose of robbing the establishment. After taking the contents from the cash drawer, the subject exited the main entrance.

On Saturday, March 24 at approximately 8:45 a.m., a gunman entered The Roofing Outlet at 1410 Chestnut Avenue in Hillside and announced a robbery. He pointed what appeared to be an automatic firearm at the employees and customers and demanded money. During the incident, the owner of the business was shot and killed and his son, who was an employee, was also shot. The perpetrator fled from the store either on foot northbound on Chestnut Avenue or entered a green Jeep Cherokee, NJ Plate bearing the numbers "99".

Resident yelled for them to wait as she approached the door and they began to depart the property. Resident confronted individuals who stated that they were looking for "Nicole" who was supposed to leave a front porch light on. The two unknown individuals then walked away.
