Freeholders Honor ConocoPhilips Bayway Refinery for Endowment

Union County Freeholder Chairman Al Mirabella (2nd L) and Freeholders Nancy Ward (2nd R) and Dan Sullivan (R) present Mike Karlovich (L) of ConocoPhilips Bayway Refinery with a resolution thanking the company for its $15,000 endowment for the Geology Classroom at the new visitors center at the Union County Trailside Nature & Science Center in Mountainside. The grand opening of the center on Sept. 28 concluded with a “mobile meeting” of the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders at Trailside.
