Union County Freeholder Bette Jane Kowalski presents a donation of 45 books on recycling and related topics to Cranford Library Director John Malar as part of Union County’s Go Green Round 3 initiative. Each public library in Union County will receive a set of the books which are valued at $600 and cover all age groups. The books were purchased through a state recycling grant and will be delivered to the libraries prior the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day on April 22.  (Photo by Jim Lowney/County of Union)
