Union County Freeholder Chairman Al Mirabella (R)
and Fanwood Library Director Dan Weiss review
the new Union County Library Connect service.
|
Union County residents now have access to three powerful resources, through the Library Connection Initiative developed this year by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders. All Union County library card holders can access articles from the New York Times from 1851 to 2003 and genealogy information from HeritageQuest from libraries or from their home or office. A third resource, Ancestry | Library Edition, a wonderful genealogy tool, is available in libraries only.
To use these services, just click on the links. For remote access from home or your office, you will be asked to enter the bar code number from the back of any Union County library card. Whether you are a student, a teacher, someone doing independent research or a curious resident, we hope these resources will be helpful. For help with access, or if you have any questions, please contact your local library. |
