our ever increasing reliance on the automobile and our road system, road
repair is inevitable.
The
County of Union New Jersey continues to strive in providing the best
possible roads to ensure the motoring public's safety, convenience
and enjoyment. We know the inconvenience that road repairs bring and
we make every effort to complete them in a timely manner. Any project
requiring road closure will have a clearly marked detour route
maintained by a county work force during hours of work.

addition, county residents will now have this handy web page to help
them anticipate road closures and plan for
alternate routes and extra travel time when construction affects them.
