Fluorescent Bulb Recycling

Fluorescent Bulbs are accepted for recycling at all of Union County’s Household Hazardous Waste days.  In an effort to make recycling easier and more convenient, Union County is now offering fluorescent bulb recycling at municipal convenient centers.  The following municipalities are now accepting 4’ and 8’ fluorescent bulbs for recycling, free of charge.  Please refer to specific town information for dates, times and locations.

The maximum number of bulbs that can be dropped off is twelve (12).  No broken bulbs will be accepted.  No businesses or public entities are permitted to participate in these programs. Businesses should refer to list of commercial fluorescent bulb recyclers below.
