Municipal Drop Off Locations

Clark: Clark residents can bring their electronic waste to the Clark DPW yard on the last Saturday of the month from 9am-1pm.  Dates for 2013: January 26, February 23, March 30, April 27, June 29, July 27, August 31, September 28, October 26, November 30.

Cranford: Union County residents can drop off e-waste at the Conservation Center located at 210 Birchwood Avenue anytime the center is open. Please check the website, http://www.cranford.com/township/Recycle.asp , for exact days and hours of operation. Permits are not required to drop off e-waste.

Elizabeth: Elizabeth residents can bring electronic waste to the Elizabeth Recycling Center, 523 Trenton Avenue, 7 days a week.  Monday- Friday 8 am to 5 pm; Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 4 pm.

Fanwood: The Fanwood Recycling Center accepts all electronics at the Fanwood Recycling Center drop off location on North Avenue (next to Quick Chek).  To cover the cost of recycling, a small donation is requested for each piece.  The center is open on Wednesday and Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm (accept items from non-residents).

Hillside: Residents can drop off e-waste at the Hillside Public Works Yard located at 274 Hillside Avenue (rear building of the Community Center/William H. Buie Center).  Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Kenilworth: Residents can drop off e-waste at the Kenilworth Recycling Center located on Sheridan Avenue.  Hours are Monday – Friday from 7am to 2pm.

Linden: Linden residents can drop off e-waste at the Recycling Center located at 2 Donaldson Place Monday-Friday 7 am – 3pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm

New Providence: New Providence residents can drop off e-waste at the DPW located at 29 Park Place Monday through Friday 7 am to 2 pm

Plainfield: Plainfield residents can drop off e-waste at the PMUA Transfer Station, located at 95 Rock Avenue every Wednesday between 7 am and 3 pm.

Rahway: Rahway has curbside collection for electronics.  Residents must call 732-827-2159 to schedule an appointment.  Schedule can be downloaded from their website, www.cityofrahway.com.

Roselle: Residents can drop off e-waste at the Roselle DPW Yard, located at 1121 Chandler Avenue.  Hours of operation are Monday-Friday between 7:30 am and 3 pm.

Roselle Park: In addition to Waste Management Facility in Elizabeth, residents can drop off their electronics at either the Kenilworth DPW (must show proof of residency) or Fanwood Recycling Center.  Please note times each facility is open above.

Springfield: Residents can drop off e-waste on the first Saturday of every month at the municipal pool parking lot, located at 40-44 Morrison Road in Springfield.  Employees will be on hand to assist. The hours of operation are between 7:00 am and 11:00 am. The dates throughout the year are: are February 2, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1, July 6, August 3, September 7, October 5, November 2, and December 7

Summit: Summit has a curbside collected program for electronics.  Call Summit DPW for more information.

Union: Residents can drop off e-waste at the Union DPW yard Monday – Friday from 8:30 to 4 pm. For weekend hours or large TV pick up, please call 908-686-1922.

Westfield: Residents can bring electronic waste to the Westfield Conservation Center, 1300 Lamberts Mill Road, anytime the Center is open. Check the website, www.westfieldnj.gov, for exact days and hours of operation. Permits are not required to drop off recyclable materials.
